Walker has been linked to join the North Carolina State Wolfpack for months, as his father, Jamil Walker, is the strength and conditioning coach for the program.
But the 6′6″ 252-pound edge rusher, along with his father, took an official visit with the Wolverines on Friday, June 20, 2025, and decided to stay in Ann Arbor for his collegiate career.
Julian is a prototype player, as he embodies the human form of Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic 4, with a frame and length that college defensive coaches love to utilize on the defensive line.
With his official commitment to the men in maize, Walker will join fellow classmates Carter Meadows, Titan Davis, and Tariq Boney as the college version of the Los Angeles Rams’ new Fearsome Foursome in Michigan.
