ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Michigan Wolverines freshman offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, a five-star recruit, suffered a season-ending injury, according to reports.
The five-star freshman was expected to get some run this season for the Wolverines, even though he did not secure a starting role with 12 days until the regular season.
It seemed likely Babalola would earn meaningful playing time and serve as a reliable backup in case of injury to a starter on the offensive line.
There is no word yet on recovery time.
With Babalola’s potential loss, Michigan will look to Evan Link, Blake Frazier, and Andrew Sprague to step up in order to open holes for the running backs and quarterback Bryce Underwood for the 2025 season.
