Planning your next trip? You may want to watch where you're laying your head. Terminix has compiled a list of the 15 most bedbug-infested cities in the U.S.

DETROIT – If you know someone in Metro-Detroit who has suffered through a beg bug infestation, you're probably not alone. Terminix has issued its annual list of the top bed-bug infested cities. There is one spot of good news in this year's study, Detroit is not among the cities with the largest increase in bed bug troubles.

Terminix has 300-plus branches through the country. The cities with the top number of calls (residential and commercial) through May are:

 

  • Cincinnati
  • Philadelphia
  • Detroit
  • New York
  • Columbus
  • Los Angeles
  • Dallas
  • Chicago
  • Houston
  • Baltimore
  •  

    While the same cities tend to pop up in that list, this year, Terminix also looked at cities where the complaints have increased the most. The top ten on that list are:

     

  • Sacramento        54%
  • Milwaukee          53%
  • Las Vegas          50%
  • Columbus, OH   47%
  • Baltimore            46%
  • Riverside-San Bernardino, CA  41%
  • St. Louis             40%
  • Cleveland           36%
  • Louisville,KY      31%
  • Denver               28%
