WESTLAND – Westland Police say two people were arrested Sunday in connection to two weekend robberies at the Dollar General Store at 37376 Glenwood Road.
Police responded to an armed robbery report at the store and found a person who matched the suspect description during a search of the area. The 42-year-old Westland resident also matched the description of a robbery that happened at the store Saturday. He was arrested for both robberies without incident.

A 40-year-old Westland resident showed up in a car to pick up the robbery suspect and was arrested for being an accessory after the commission of a felony.
Both residents are being held at the Westland Police Department during the investigation.
