3 injured when man shoots into car on Detroit's east side

Man, woman listed in critical condition

DETROIT – Three people were injured Saturday night during gunfire in the 10000 block of Peerless Street on Detroit's east side, police said.

Officials said a man wearing a black hoodie walked up to a Ford Escort in a driveway and started firing shots.

All three people inside the Escort suffered gunshot wounds, police said.

A 29-year-old woman was shot in the neck, arm and wrist. She is in critical condition, officials said.

A 31-year-old man was shot in the arm and forearm, and was grazed in the forehead. He is in critical condition as well, police said.

A 28-year-old woman was shot in the right thigh and is in stable condition, officials said.

Police said there is no indication of a robbery.
