DETROIT – Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was involved in a car crash early Saturday morning in Portland, Oregon.
Portland police said Suh was driving a 1970 Chevrolet coupe southbound on Third Avenue in a downtown part of the city just after 1 a.m. when he lost control, hit a curb, a light pole, drinking fountain and finally a tree.

Police said the 24-year-old "was not impaired and simply lost control of his vehicle."
Suh and his two passengers were not hurt.
Police said Suh was "polite and cooperative" with officers.
Suh is a graduate of Portland's Grant High School.
