DETROIT -

Friday morning will be chilly and dry for drivers and students.  Lows will be in the low 30s and Detroiters will need their sunglasses.  Friday afternoon will have pleasant sunshine and be milder with highs in the middle 50s.

Friday night will be cloudier with a chance of rain showers and lows in the low to mid 40s.

Saturday may start with a sprinkle but will end with partly sunny skies and warmer conditions.  Highs will be in the low 60s for college and high school playoff football.

Veterans' Day Sunday, will begin cool and finish warmer for any commemorations or ceremonies.  Morning lows will be near 40, and afternoon highs will be near 65.

Enjoy the weekend warmth because a cold front will bring rain on Monday with a few snowflakes Monday night and scattered about Tuesday.  Daytime temps will retreat to the 50s and 40s.
