UTICA, Mich. – Police in Macomb County say they might have a serial robber on their hands.
Utica police said a man wearing a red handkerchief over his face robbed a Dollar Tree on Hall Road Monday afternoon at gunpoint with a black pistol.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
Police said the man matches the description of a man who has committed similar crimes in Chesterfield, Roseville and Sterling Heights.
Robber description
White man between 40 and 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, plaid shirt, khaki shorts and sunglasses. Following the robbery in Utica, police said witnesses reported seeing a red older vehicle, possibly a Ford Escort, flee the area.
