DETROIT – A Royal Oak police officer was going through the intersection of Woodward Ave. and 13 Mile when the cruiser was hit by a Corvette.
The accident happened Saturday evening.

A witness tells Local 4 that the Corvette came out of no where when the police cruiser was going through the intersection with it's lights and siren on.
Royal Oak police will only say that there is an investigation into the incident.
No serious injuries were reported.
