Thousands are still in the dark in southeast Michigan after storms ripped through the area earlier in the week.
DTE Energy reports 6,500 customers are without power as of Sunday night.

The storms turned off power to more than 340,000 customers in total, according to DTE Energy. Crews have been working to make repairs, and additional workers were brought in to help.
DTE Energy expects power to be restored by late Sunday for many of the customers, but some will have to wait until Monday.
