NOVI, Mich. – Novi police have received numerous complaints from residents.
The reason: Graffiti is covering local overpasses throughout the city, including the overpasses at West Park Drive, Interstate 96 and Grand River Avenue.

The overpasses have been targeted and tagged with assortments of symbols and phrases. In some cases, the phrases are racial remarks.
What police are doing: A community-oriented policing project will be instated by local police to help prevent the vandalism from reoccurring. Also, police hope to find and arrest the vandals.
