DETROIT – Bob Bashara has been denied access to a laptop while behind bars.

The prosecution is against it and on Thursday the judge in the case agreed.

Jane Bashara's body was found Jan 24, 2012, in her Mercedes-Benz in a Detroit alley. Joe Gentz, a handyman for Bob, pleaded guilty to strangling her, but said he did so at her husband's behest.

Bob Bashara is already serving up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to trying to hire someone to kill Gentz in jail. He's also facing murder charges in connection with his wife's death.

A judge will decide Thursday if Bob Bashara gets his laptop.
