WATERFORD, Mich. – A 29-year-old bipolar man from Waterford has been missing for a little over one month, according to his family.
Daniel Macchiarella is diagnosed as bipolar, but refuses to take any medication, which leads to severe symptoms, his family said.

Macchiarella left his town home in Waterford unlocked with most of his belongings inside and his car parked out front. There is no sign of a break-in or struggle, so the family thinks Macchiarella left under his own will.
He worked at a local restaurant, but hasn't been seen or collected any of his checks since he was last seen in early February.
