Macomb County Sheriff's Office investigates 3 break-ins

LENOX TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is investigating the break-ins of three businesses early Thursday morning in Lenox Township.
An eyewitness called the Macomb County Emergency Dispatch Center around 2 a.m. to report that a break-in was occurring at a State Farm agency located in the 36000 block of 26 Mile Road.

A commercial alarm was activated at a Sprint store in the same vicinity while deputies were responding to the report.
Deputies found windows smashed at both locations. A nearby Tim Horton's restaurant also had a broken window.
The perpetrator fled before deputies arrived. Detectives are reviewing evidence and surveillance videos from the businesses.
