CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Canton Township man has been charged in a string of break-ins that took place early Monday morning at three Jets Pizza locations.
Spencer Jurcak Hall, 24, is charged with two counts of breaking and entering a building with intent, and one count of attempt of breaking and entering a building with intent. Both charges are felonies carrying 10-year and 5-year penalties.

The series of break-ins began about 1 a.m. Monday when Canton Township police were dispatched to an alarm at the Jets Pizza on Palmer Road near Haggerty Road. The business had been broken into and cash was taken.
About two hours later, Plymouth Township police officers responded to an alarm at the Jets Pizza on Ann Arbor Road which had also been broken into. Cash was taken from this store, too.
Then at about 4 a.m., Canton Township police officers watching the Jets Pizza on Cherry Hill Road saw a man walk up to the building and run away. Police saw the storefront's glass window had been broken and an alarm was sounding.
Soon after that, officers were able to find and arrest the man, who was attempting to hide in a wooded area.
Hall was arraigned Wednesday in front of 35th District Court Judge Ronald Lowe. His bond was set at $50,000 cash, with a preliminary examination date of Feb. 13.
