CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Canton Township police are asking for help identifying a suspect in the shooting of a 16-year-old boy about 12 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot outside the After Dark teen night club on Lilley Road.
Surveillance video from outside the club shows a group of teens who police are working to identify. Police have highlighted some specific teens in the video, which is from earlier Saturday night.
The victim was shot in his thigh during an argument and the suspect fled the area. The victim was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The club has since been shut down.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
