Charges issued in murder of Clinton Township mother and daughter Tina Geiger, 11-year-old daughter stabbed inside their apartment
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Charges have been issued against a man arrested in connection with the murders of a mentally impaired Clinton Township mother and her 11-year-old daughter.
The suspect is facing charges of resisting and obstructing a police officer and lying to a police officer during a violent crime investigation.
His name will be released after his arraignment.
Tina Geiger, and her daughter, Chrissy, were found stabbed to death Tuesday inside their apartment at Parkway Village.
A makeshift memorial with flowers and stuffed animals has been created at their home and friends held a vigil in their honor on Wednesday.
Many people who knew the two told Local 4 the mother and daughter were inseparable and loved by all.
