DETROIT – Congressman John Conyers and Congressman Hansen Clarke are teaming up with Wayne County Community College District to host a jobs fair Tuesday in Detroit.
The fair is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Wayne County Community College District's downtown campus at 1001 W. Fort St.

There will be a town hall meeting after the fair from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event is part of the Congressional Black Caucus Jobs Initiative tour called "For The People."
"I know what it's like to be unemployed," said Clarke in a news release. "During the last recession I was without a job and without hope. This jobs fair is a critical component to getting people in my community back to work."
As many as 2,000 jobs will be available at the fair.
