Couple wanted in connection with check fraud

DETROIT – Detroit police have released pictures and video of a couple who they say used fraudulent checks to buy merchandise at a mall.

Police said the two used the checks Feb. 17 at Nordstrom in the Partridge Creek mall.

The checks are from a Detroit-based company.

Police on Thursday released video of the couple in the store.

Anyone with information on the man and woman is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-1137 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAKUP.
