Dearborn police responded to the 24000 block of Michigan Avenue for a burglary alarm around midnight Sunday. They discovered that a brick had been thrown through the alley window and a safe was stolen from the business.

Police responded to another burglary alarm around 11:45 p.m. Monday, this time in the 24200 block of Michigan Avenue. Officers saw a man and a woman leaving the area and arrested both of them.

Police said evidence linked Schuller to both crimes. The woman who accompanied Schuller was not involved.

"The Dearborn Police Department is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure residential and business community and we will continue to leave no stone unturned in our criminal investigation," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. "Our patrol officers and detectives did an excellent job which resulted in an arrest that closed several burglary cases in Dearborn."

Schuller was arraigned Wednesday in 19th District Court on charges of breaking and entering and larceny. Judge Mark Somers set bond at $75,000 cash.

Schuller is due back in court for a preliminary exam on April 17.
