DETROIT – "White Boy" Rick Wershe learned Friday that he will be granted parole after spending nearly 30 years behind bars.

The 10-member parole board voted unanimously to grant parole to Wershe, 47, who went to prison after a drug bust when he was 17.
He is the longest serving juvenile drug offender in the history of Michigan.
