Metro Detroit Weather: Foggy and wet start

Overnight lows near 40 degrees

DETROIT – Umbrellas will be needed into Monday morning as more scattered raindrops arrive. Temps remain well above freezing, again, snow snow and ice will not be factors. Overnight lows will be near 40 degrees across all of Southeast Michigan from the Thumb through the Motor City to Ann Arbor and the Ohio Border.

Monday will have fog, rain, especially in the morning and midday. While it will not be as warm, afternoon highs will be, at least, 10 degrees above average; near 45 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and chilly with highs near 40 degrees.

The next low pressure system arrives Wednesday. Scattered snow then rain showers will fall in the morning. Wednesday afternoon will be wet, and colder air arrives behind a cold front for the rest of the week.

Thursday and Friday will be colder, but seasonable. Highs will be in the low and mid 30s, and lows will be in the 20s. Scattered snow is possible Friday.
