Detroit apartment fire sends 1 to hospital

DETROIT – An apartment fire on Detroit's east side sent one person to the hospital Sunday morning.

The fire started around 7:15 a.m. at an apartment building on East Jefferson Avenue and McClellan Street.  One victim was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.

Arson investigators were called to the scene.
