DETROIT – A 50-year-old man was shot in the head and killed around 4 a.m. Friday on Tyler Avenue near Lauder Street on Detroit's west side.
According to Detroit police, a person walked up to a man's door and told him someone was shooting at his brother. The brother went to the area of Tyler Avenue and Lauder Street and found his brother lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to his head.
The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no suspects at this time, police said.
Homicide detectives and police officers are still investigating at the scene.
