Detroit police release video of unknown suspect in fatal shooting of Wayne State officer

DETROIT – Detroit police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying an unknown suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of Wayne State Sergeant Collin Rose.

The Detroit Police Department released the following information and video.

On November 22, 2016 in the area of Brainard and Lincoln, Wayne State University Police Sergeant Collin Rose was fatally shot by an unknown suspect while investigating off campus activities. Investigators believe the suspect was riding a bike at the time of the incident.

Attached is a video of the suspect on his bike just prior to the shooting.  Please be advised, the front wheel of the bike is small in size.
