Detroit police search for teens who escaped youth treatment center

Felony warrants out for all 4 teens, police say

DETROIT – Detroit police say four teens have escaped from a youth treatment center on the city's east side.

Police said the teens, ages 16 and 17, escaped the Don Bosco Depaul Center at East Grand Boulevard Thursday evening when a security worker went to open the front door for visiting ministers to leave.

The teens fled on foot in different directions on East Grand Boulevard. Police said they had been convicted of "various crimes."

The escapees are:

  • Duane Stiff-Brown -- has tattoos on both arms ("loyalty" & "respect")
  • Michael Robinson -- has a chipped front tooth
  • Devonte Kenney -- has several tattoos
  • Kenyata Saxton -- has "218" tattoo on his arm
