Domino's Pizza in Royal Oak preparing for busy, snowy Sunday

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – This Super Bowl Sunday brings with it an added complication for busy restaurants: A winter storm. The game plan at Domino's Pizza in Royal Oak just changed.

Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest sales day of the year for Domino's, and the team at the Royal Oak store is prepping for a crazy day.

"All bets are off," said Greg Lamb of Domino's. "It's safety first. We're not going to be out there driving like mad men. We'll get your pizza to you as hot, as soon as possible, but snow puts a big burden on how we can get our deliveries there."

Twenty-two employees at the restaurant will make up to 400 pizzas Sunday.

With snow falling and piling on the streets, they'll still deliver. They're making sure their drivers have what they need to get through the day.

"We had a meeting earlier and got a hint of snow coming," Lamb said. "Drivers will have bags on their feet to stay warm, keep shovels in the car if they get stuck. We'll do the best we can this year."

Domino's says order your pizza early Sunday and have patience.
