Driver alcohol detection system to be unveiled Thursday

The DOT says nearly 10,000 people are killed each year in accidents related to alcohol.
Today, the department will hold a presentation on the driver alcohol detection system for safety.
The event is expected to highlight recent advancements in the technology and outline future developments.
Among those making remarks today is Mark Rosekind of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
