INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. – Michigan State Police responded to a pedestrian hit-and-run in Ingham County.
Troopers say a 26-year-old Bunker Hill Township man was struck by a vehicle while walking along Baseline Road near McCreery Road in Bunker Hill Township.

The driver of the car lost control behind the wheel, struck the victim and went into a ditch.
The driver then left the scene of the crash and headed into Jackson County, police say.
The suspect was driving a black Ford Taurus, possibly a 2000 model.
Police say the car will have damage on the right rear tail light cover.
The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and later released at a Jackson County hospital
