Motorcyclists Marko Rubin, France Bowers killed

ALLEN PARK, Mich. – A 31-year-old Inkster woman has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs and driving with a suspended license for a double-fatal crash on Interstate 94.

Police said Chana Woods' Ford Escape veered Saturday afternoon from the eastbound lanes of I-94 near Oakwood Boulevard into the westbound lanes and hit motorcyclists Marko Rubin, 48, of Macomb, and France Kevan Bowers, 49, of Southfield. Both were killed.

Police said they found a small amount of marijuana and a "paper lotto ticket with heroin residue" in Woods' SUV.

She was arraigned Tuesday and given a $1 million bond.

Her next court date is Nov. 23.
