Driver on the run after crashing van into Detroit home

DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for the driver who crashed a van into a home Wednesday morning, hurting one person.

Police said the driver of a blue Ford Windstar lost control on Chicago near Montrose and slammed into the front of a house at the exact same time as a man was turning off the porch light.

He was rushed to a hospital but police said his injuries are non-life-threatening.

The driver was last seen running toward Greenfield Road.
