Roseville man killed when Jeep flips, hits hydrant on Mound Road

Alcohol doesn't appear to be factor in accident, police say

WARREN, Mich. – A 46-year-old Roseville man died Monday morning when his Jeep flipped and hit a fire hydrant on Mound Road, Warren police said.

Police said the victim, whose name was not released, appears to have lost control of the Jeep in the northbound lanes near Martin Road.

A passenger in the Jeep suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Beaumont Hospital. Both the driver and the passenger were wearing seat belts, police said.

Police said alcohol doesn't appear to have been a factor in the accident.
