Eastbound I-94 reopens after truck crash at Wayne Road in Romulus

ROMULUS, Mich. – A driver was carefully pulled from the cab of a semi-truck Tuesday afternoon as it dangled over an overpass on eastbound I-94.

The driver didn't appear to be hurt, and even stopped to take a cellphone picture, but was put in an ambulance for observation.

All eastbound lanes of I-94 at Wayne Road were closed because of the incident -- fuel has spilled. However, the freeway was reopened about 5:30 p.m. Only the right lane remains closed for repairs.
