TAYLOR, Mich. -

An employee was found shot to death Tuesday afternoon at the Advance America cash advance shop on Telegraph Road in Taylor.

Taylor police went to the business just after noon for a holdup alarm. Officers found Chelsea Small, a 30-year-old Gibraltar mother of two, dead with a gunshot wound.

Police believe someone robbed the cash advance store and killed Small.

There is no description of a suspect at this time. Police have not released any surveillance images or video.

"Our detectives are doing that right now. They are working with the corporate people right now, combing through all the surveillance so that we can get whatever information that's on there that's going to be helpful for us to locate this (suspect)," said Taylor Police Chief Mary Sclabassi.
