DETROIT – The father of a murdered 3-year-old girl is speaking out after three years believing that the one murder conviction was not enough.
Amiracle Williams was caught in the crossfire of an argument that led to gunshots. She was shot and killed in October 2014.
Her father, Demetrious Williams, said he thinks about Amiracle every day.
Last July, a jury found Donnie Everett guilty of second-degree murder. Demetrious Williams said one conviction was not enough.
The shooting started as an argument over a Facebook post between William’s older daughter and her friend. The argument boiled over into a fight on the front lawn.
Demetrious Williams believes that everyone involved in the fight should be held accountable, including himself, because he admittedly fired the first shot that day to defend his children.
Everyone involved in the fight was questioned and released.
