Ford employee burned in propane filling station fire outside Dearborn Stamping

Employee taken to nearby hospital in unknown condition

DEARBORN, Mich. – A Ford employee suffered burns Tuesday afternoon when a propane filling station caught fire outside Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Stamping Plant, a spokesperson for the automaker said. 

The employee was taken to a nearby hospital. Their condition is not known at this time. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

The Dearborn Stamping Plant is on Miller Road between Rotunda Drive and Dix Avenue in Dearborn. It's part of the massive Ford River Rouge Center.
