Ford Motor Company is planning to cut 10 percent of its global workforce, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The job cuts are expected to be announced later this week. They reportedly target salaried employees.

The Wall Street Journal cites anonymous sources briefed on the plan.

There's no word yet on if hourly factory workers will be included in the cuts.

Ford has not commented on the reports.
