Sewer line collapses along 15 Mile Road

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – County officials provided an update Monday morning about the work being done to repair a collapsed sewer line along 15 Mile Road between Utica and Hayes roads in Fraser.

A Macomb Interceptor Drain Drainage District board meeting was held Monday at the Macomb County Office of Public Works in Clinton Township. Engineers shared a video inspection of a portion of the damaged sewer pipes, showing cracks, breaks and leaks.

The Macomb Interceptor Drain Drainage District board is comprised of Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller, Macomb County Commissioner Robert Mijac and Bryan Santo, director of the Macomb County Dept. of Roads.
