GM CEO Mary Barra tapped for Trump's economic panel Barra chosen for Trump's strategic and policy forum
DETROIT – The next appointment to President-elect Donald Trump's team comes from Detroit.
Trump has chosen General Motors Chief Executive Officer Mary Barra for the strategic and policy forum, which will advise him on economic issues.
Barra said she's pleased to contribute on key policy issues.
The President-elect's transition team said the first meeting of the forum will be held at the White House during the first week of February.
