Grenade found in home on Detroit's east side

Detroit police are investigating after a grenade was found inside a house near Saratoga Avenue on Detroit’s east side.

The occupant of the home was in the process of moving out when they found the grenade and called police.

Bomb squad arrived on scene and removed the grenade; it is still unclear if the grenade was live.
