Grosse Pointe Park police: Man in sketch attacked woman on street

Woman cut several times by man while walking on Cadieux

GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. – Grosse Pointe Park police on Tuesday released the sketch of a man they said attacked a woman earlier this month as she walked on Cadieux Road.

The attack happened Dec. 13 while the woman was on Cadieux Road near Charlevoix Street.

Police said the woman told them that she confronted by a man, whom she believed had been following her and was cut several times.

She was treated at St. John Hospital, but police didn't release details on how severe her injuries were.

Police describe her attacker as a black man in his early 20s and 6 feet tall with a very thin build. He was wearing a white sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and blue shorts.
