Howell student approached while walking home from school

Livingston County Sheriff's Office seeking public assistance

OCEOLA TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a woman who approached a student walking home from school in Oceola Township.

At approximately 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, a Howell student was approached at a school bus stop in the neighborhood of Hidden Creek by a black female driving a white Dodge minivan. The student fled to her home and told her mother, who reported the incident to the police.

This incident remains under investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau. The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining additional information regarding this incident.
