INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. – A section of I-96--that runs through Ingham County --was shut down in both directions briefly Saturday morning after a two car crash.
The accident occurred on the east bound side of I-96 near Elm Road.

Three people were transported to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing; a man and a woman from one car and a man from a second car.
The west bound side of I-96 was shut down to allow a helicopter to land for transport of one victims who had serious injuries.
