Inside look: USS Silversides Museum
Local 4's Rod Meloni had a chance to take a closer look at one of the most important ships of World War II.
Few people know about the U.S.S. Silversides, which is credited with sinking 23 major Japanese ships during WWII, receiving 4 Presidential Unit Citations and 12 Battle Stars for her wartime service.
It's right here in Michigan, just across the state in Muskegon.
