Judge: Open carry not allowed in Ann Arbor schools

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A judge ruled Wednesday that gun owners cannot open carry in the Ann Arbor school district.

Michigan gun owners and the school district met in court after the organization filed a lawsuit claiming school policies banning guns violate Michigan law.

The judge said there's no specific law allowing open carry, leaving schools able to regulate them.

Michigan gun owners plan to appeal.
