DETROIT – With the Fourth of July weekend approaching, some Michigan communities are telling residents not to set off fireworks due to dry conditions that could spark a fire.

- Farmington
- Farmington Hills
- Holly
- Macomb Township
- Oxford Township
- Oxford
- Shelby Township
Pontiac residents are urged to use extreme caution when using fireworks or burning open flames.
