LIVONIA, Mich. – Anyone who has an overdue traffic or parking ticket in the city of Livonia is getting a break -- but only for the month of May.
The city has implemented an amnesty program for the whole month, which means their waiving the normal $30 default fee and 20 percent late fee.

The amnesty applies to anyone who pays their tickets in full and in person at 16th District Court, which is a 32765 Five Mile Road.
Anyone who wants to pay with a credit card by phone must obtain an authorization code by calling the court at 734-466-2500. An additional fee applies for that method.
