DETROIT – Detroit police made a major auto theft bust Friday night at a series of homes on the city's west side.
Working off a tip, the Detroit Police Auto Theft Task Force found four homes with large fencing surrounding them. The backyards had been turned into a chop shop with several stolen cars and hundreds of auto parts.
