ROMULUS, Mich. – A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car Friday night in Romulus.
According to police, a tan Ford Taurus struck a man on Inkster Road south of Beverly Road around 10:15 p.m. The man was walking north on Inkster Road in the street.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition, police said.
The driver, a 37-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
It is unclear if alcohol or drugs are a factor, police said.
