Man wearing clown mask arrested in Houston park

BAYTOWN, Texas – Houston-area police Monday evening arrested a man wearing a clown mask after receiving calls stating that he and another masked man were chasing people in Jenkins Park.

Eyewitnesses say one of the men was holding a large tree limb in each hand.

When officers arrived, the pair ran into nearby woods, but police captured one of them.

"It was scary. I'd heard of it happening but I never thought I'd see it in my city," said Mayci Henderson, who was at the park with her 3-year-old son and recorded video of the arrest.

The Baytown Police Department said the man was arrested on outstanding warrants. There is no word yet on whether he will be charged in relation to the incident in the park.
